Canterbury District Health Board's Oral Health team understood the value of good information but their dental system's data structure made meaningful analysis difficult, time-consuming and unsustainable. Montage worked closely with the Clinical Director to develop an information layer that made the underlying data accessible, structured and ready for reporting, giving the team the visibility they needed to measure performance, identify issues and drive continuous improvement.
The impact was significant. Reporting that once took half a day of manual effort from 112 staff was fully automated. Clinicians gained real-time visibility into their own performance and for the first time, had the information to act on it.
